The buyer finally got some holiday time, but the urge to antique and thrift store shop is strong with this one. And there were lots of terrific places to shop in Maine and Ohio. The folk picture above is sourced from https://shop.colonialwilliamsburg.com/.  A trip to Williamsburg is on everyone's bucket list.

Some of her finds include vintage doll clothes, kitchen utensils and a new basket. Our resident display artist is very happy with these.

There were all sorts of lovely hankies to choose from. The two pictured below might become aprons or caps. One has teeny tiny tatting and the other boasts equally diminutive crochet lace and cut work.

The vintage doll clothes found seem perfect for shifts or nightgowns. They all need some TLC and repairs, but are in good shape overall. You can view them individually in the What's New Section. There will surely be more photos of the ladies modelling them.

Some fabrics were added to Adelaide's growing pile of gown choices as well. There is certainly more available for larger scale dolls. The ice blue satin was a curtain in another life. And the print is a house dress with a future as a sack back gown.

Armand now has more choice as well, with two napkins in a lovely golden green. There is a pronounced difference in sheen from one side to the other. Sadly, the camera did not capture the green colour very well. We'll see which he decides on.

The buyer did purchase a few treasures for her self and family. It was a holiday after all. But those did not include a much desired wooden or papier mache doll. Deep, deep sigh.

While the shop is happy to ooooh and aaah over these new items, they would dearly love to see more work on the table. For now, a new stand needs finishing for Addy, and the shoe last form is almost ready for the cordwainer. So more blogs will follow shortly.

As always, your comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Fare thee well for now.
